This movie will be on my “impossible situation based on a true story” list.
Shaileen is great and really sells the despair. I enjoyed the way the movie was structured. Overall a good movie.
——SPOILERS AHEAD——-
I definitely did not see the end coming but it’s a trope that we have seen before. The whole time you think the boyfriend is there but it’s a delusion that is her coping mechanism. Used as a way to keep the viewer engaged and provide a dramatic heft to the situation at the end. It works.
