The original was one of my favorites as a kid but is hard to revisit now with my kids because of some of the outdated cultural representations. This movie shows what is good about these live-action remakes. I get to enjoy the good part of the stories while enhancing it with more modern sensibilities. I really enjoyed it and I think most families will too.
