As I was watching this movie there were a few things structurally that felt like a first time director: character narration, non-linear storytelling, chapter markers, etc. Those things were a bit distracting but I was able to accept them after a while and just enjoy the movie. When the credits rolled I was pleasantly surprised to see Clark Duke’s name as the director.
Worth watching.
