I did not realize that this movie was based on a true story but it felt like it the entire time I was watching. While this movie follows a number of “Based on a True Story” tropes it does it in a way that is respectful to the original source material. You can probably guess (most of) the beats before they happen its still worth watching.
Also a shoutout to John Leguizamo for his directing on this one!
