I really do enjoy being in this world but it had been awhile since I had seen the previous one and I felt lost for the first act of this movie. I remember feeling like the last one just ended without a proper ending or cliffhanger. Eventually I just let go of the last film and just enjoyed this one on its own which helped.
I think the strength of these movies are the characters and the world building. It’s those two things that bring me back more so than the convoluted story.
