I was so excited to watch this and was so upsettingly disappointed. There are so many story threads introduced and so many ways this could have gone but they did not pull on any threads for exploration and despite its non-linear “gimmick” went predictably to a bland conclusion.
The only positive was actors giving performances that elevated this from one star to two. Ryan Reynolds deserved a better movie for his dramatic acting chops.
