Fun movie.  It was definitely different enough from the 1987 film to be its own thing but shared the right amount of DNA.  I did not read the book so I don’t know about its proximity to the source material.  Glen Powell did a good job, but his character was rather one dimensional.  Either way, I enjoyed myself, especially in the moments that felt like an Edgar Wright film.
