I was in middle school when my mom bought me my copy of the Frank Miller graphic novel. We both just assumed it was another Batman. When I started reading it and realized it was not I found a quiet place to read and could not put it down.
This adaptation does a lot of justice to the original graphic novel. I would love for people to read the book first because it’s obvious that this adaptation is a love letter to the fans. If you are not a comic book reader then do yourself a favor and watch this movie and realize how great they can be.
