I had started this before when everyone was talking about it but unfortunately was not able to finish until today. I only bring that up because I wonder if it clouds how I feel about this special.

Inside is an amazing time capsule of this time in our life. Not only the subjects that Bo is commenting on but how we are/were collectively feeling during the initial Covid quarantine. This is 2020.

I know it’s a show and Bo is playing a character of sorts as any comedian does in their stand-up but as it gets closer to the end I think the emotions get more and more authentic and genuine.  His pain, depression and anxiety start to come through in a way that most of us will understand.

On a technical level – damn this kid is talented. I loved Eighth Grade and I hope he gets back to filmmaking next because he is going to create some amazing art.
