I’m so behind in Studio Ghibli. No time like the present.

First – this film is BEAUTIFUL. It’s like watching paintings come to life.

Second – Miyazaki just sees the world differently and you need to be open to it. There are so many layers to his storytelling.

With this movie specifically I just wish there was more context for the passage of time because it felt like the main characters fell in love too quickly. Other than that I enjoyed everything about this film.
