This film was heartbreaking and so so good. I felt such empathy for Old Dolio (Evan Rachel Wood) at every turn. Her parents are monsters and she continues to love them anyway but isn’t that what kids do. Another review on Letterboxd said it felt like this movie was made by someone who was very afraid of messing up their kids which I can definitely agree with.
