WTF! So I have not watched Hereditary yet and now I feel like maybe I should. This movie definitely has some weight to it and begs for discussion. I just finished watching it and have already had two great discussions about the story and message and about the pure filmmaking craft that went into making this movie. From that last aspect alone this movie is worth watching. It’s a slow movie and it will not be a general audience’s cup of tea but you can see that there are some master filmmakers at work behind the camera. I just hope they do not get too far out there.
