Just finished Storm Shadow: GI Joe Origins and I look forward to the sequel Snake-Eyes: GI Joe Origins.
I have been a G.I. Joe fan for 35 years and I was skeptical of the departure from the characters I have known forever but I must say that I actually enjoyed this take. My only real issue is that the timing was rushed. I could accept a lot of the changes they made to create a new fresh take but they needed to show the passage of more time for Snake-Eyes to train and for he and Tommy to form their bond of brotherhood.
I hope it’s considered successful enough to warrant a sequel because I do want to spend more time with these characters and this version of the G.I. Joe vs Cobra conflict.
